Very nice robot vacuum/mop that works really well

This eufy L60 Hybrid robot vacuum/mop is a really nice unit that works very well. The vacuum is the primary reason I got it and the mop feature is secondary. To that end I can say it performs really well as a vacuum cleaner. The intelligence is excellent, I just set it free to learn and do its thing and it easily navigated the main floor of my home. this is no small feat as I have chairs and tables with many legs to navigate around, multiple rooms with laminate flooring dividers/adapters to get over, a stairwell t avoid falling down, etc. I was very impressed with the L60's ability to navigate all of these obstacles with ease and making a very accurate map of my home as it did.The mopping feature is suitable for light cleaning in my opinion and I have no other machine to compare it to say how well it stacks up. The vacuum mode is where it's at for my needs and this L60 easily surpassed my expectations. Out of the box it was just ok as it was set on the lowest suction level (to extend battery life I assume) but when I bumped the suction level up to 3 it really improved the cleaning ability and I keep it on level 3 of the 4 and it works really well. The docking/home station with the self cleaning and hair cut/detangling feature is excellent. It allows you to run the L60 unit for up to 60 days of cleaning before the bag requires replacement (depends on how dirty the floors and how often you use the L60 of course). The included app has a nice clean interface that tis intuitive and easy to use and it provides access to al the needed features including firmware upgrades, managing the cleaning cycles, adding customs floor maps, no-go zones, etc. It is very comprehensive and a nice interface to the system.I honestly don't find anything wrong with this robot vacuum that would keep me from buying it but I will mention a couple nitpicks... On level 3 (of 4) the battery life of the unit takes a big hit. On one of my cleanings the battery level ran down so the L60 returned home to recharge before al the floors were cleaned. I expected it to charge and then resume cleaning to finish the job but it did not which is disappointing. The other nitpick I have is the self-emptying feature works flawlessly but it is loud and I wouldn't recommend running the cleaning cycle at night when you are asleep.Overall this is an excellent robot vacuum cleaner with mop feature and I would recommend it.

smart robot vacuum, responsive customer service

I previously owned a lower end model from this same brand, and I now absolutely get why this one costs so much more than the basic models. The lower end one just moved around and changed directions when it bumped into things, and would often get stuck or take FOREVER to return to its base. This one "knows" where it is, can do one room at a time, and even empties itself! The first step out of the box after you remove packaging and plug in the base is to download the app and get the robot onto your wifi network. This worked quickly and easily. Then, the robot will map your house. It travels around and you can watch on the app as it scans the walls and builds the map. Once it has mapped the house, you can then use the app to designate specific rooms and give them labels. When this is done, you can have the robot clean automatically, where it will do the whole house (or, until the battery is low), or you can select just one room. You can then set up schedules to have the robot clean each room as frequently as you specify, so it can automatically clean your high traffic areas more often than the low traffic areas. One of the best features is the hair cutting and self-emptying. You can change how often it does this, but I currently have it set to empty each time it returns to the base. This can be a little bit loud as it blows the dirt into the base, but I am very impressed that it cuts the hair off the roller bar automatically! The base does have a bag inside it, so this is one part you will need to replace when full. The mopping aspect is OK. You can set low, medium, or high water dispensing. To mop, you fill up the water reservoir, dampen the mop pad, and attach. It then basically drags around a damp microfiber pad on the floor as it goes. Because it's not too wet, this is fine for hardwood floor mopping. In the kitchen, it does OK on my tiles for a once-over, but it doesn't really scrub or get up any sticky spots -- this won't replace a real mopping or steam cleaning. As a vacuum, it has the same caveats as any other robot vacuum in that it just can't fit into very tight spaces or into narrow corners, so you will probably still want to keep your regular vacuum around for thorough cleaning. Still, this saves a lot of work to get most of the floors clean, and my favourite part is not having to clean under the beds or couch. When I first received my robot, the water pump module was defective. If I had the mop pad on, it would clean for about a minute and then stop saying "error; water pump error. please contact customer service." It then popped up a message box in the app where I could easily report the error, and customer service emailed me back quickly. After sending them some information and a video of the error, they sent me a replacement part very quickly, and I am happy that it now works.Overall, smart and helpful robot vacuum that has significant advantages in functionality over the lower end models. Excellent customer service.

Great Aid for Cleaning

This hybrid robot vacuum has been a massive help at keeping the main floor of my house cleaner which makes a full manual clean so much faster and easier. The robot vacuum does a great job at sweeping up hair, dirt, and dust and making the floors remain quite clean. The mopping feature isn't one I tend to use much as I notice it doesn't do a great job with mopping, but it does help a little bit if you're desperate. The biggest downside of this vacuum is that it is very loud. Just moving around the floor, it makes a ton of noise. Even louder is the voice when the vacuum activates and turns on. I can clearly hear it from the basement which is pretty crazy. Volume aside though, the vacuum works phenomenally and it has been a massive help. It easily has enough battery life to clean the entire main floor, and being able to block off certain areas (so it doesn't fall down stairs) is a great feature as well.Awesome product overall. I'm very happy with it.

State of the art cleaning

The Eufy L60 Hybrid Robot Vacuum with Self Empty Station is magnificent. It is highly advanced for me seeing such a vacuum for the first time.It is a vacuum, a mop, a dust pan all in one.The packaging is very nice and organized. The base is very nice and that is where the vacuum goes back after every job. It is also where the vacuum empties the collected dirt. This process can last 60 days before changing the main bag.It has a technology that detangles hair and make it easy to avoid staying on the brush. There is a little brush that turns around very fast collecting everything and pushing it towards the vacuum suction panel. The downloaded application can be very essential to programming specific jobs in specific areas. You can also connect to Wi-Fi and follow the jobs being done. Please try several times and don't give up the first time. The application is good and practical. You also must practice.I used it while away at work and had no issues. It was communicating all along.I am satisfied with it even though I did not venturi in other more advanced features. It will come with the practice. This is a very good appliance ton have at home. Life saver at times.I recommend it very much.

Relatively compact base design, good suction and "smart" with app

I absolutely love this Eufy robot vacuum!! For context, I have a different (and much more elaborate one) on the main floor, but it's far too bulky and heavy to bring the base upstairs so I can't really use it other than the main floor. This Eufy is absolutely perfect for my upstairs. It has both vacuum and mop capabilities, the base is compact (as compact as you can have for a vac like this, especially compared to my other vac). It fits perfectly in the guest room, and it keeps the upstairs clean and tidy. This vacuum relies on the app (which works perfectly on my iPhone), and it does a great job of mapping the space. It can be told to vacuum or mop. I mainly use it for vacuuming on a daily basis (we have dogs) and I'm really happy with the result. Like all robot vacs, the floors have to be clear of small things and wires, but its sensors are GREAT at working around larger objects on the floor (e.g., a larger stuffed toy). Bear in mind that it works around objects on the floor, so it doesn't clean beneath things. Obviously that means a quick tidy-up is necessary to get its full benefits. It hasn't yet run out of battery power, it can do my upstairs (3 bedrooms) easily, and it returns to its base for charging. The mopping feature works fine - it's not an elaborate system, just water and detergent in the robot itself; it does not empty into the base or anything like that. It's easy to set it to mop, and since I mapped my bathroom I can send it to do just that room when I feel it needs a cleaning.A couple of other nifty features - it self-empties into the base, and has the cutting technology to keep the cylinder clean and free of hair or other fibre. What a convenience to not have to clean it by hand. This is a GREAT little vacuum, and I would highly recommend it--with the caveat that you have to have a smartphone and be savvy enough to download an app to use it. I find the app quite easy and intuitive, and I'm so happy with how well the vacuum works!
