These are great. I haven't used one of the cameras yet or the doorbell, so can't comment on that. The ones that I did put it. Great! I live in the north. We get snow and not a lot of bright light in winter, but these worked. The solar batteries never drained even when I had the system in full detect mode. Also, its easy to hear people and they can hear me too. It was fun to call out to people trying to rummage the yard. Should have kept that video. You can do that too, keep videos. I bought the home base and extra harddrive, so don't have to worry about storage. Ps - night vision is great, very clear, black and white. Daytime, again, very clear, those are in colour.

Have it installed and going for a month.Motion detection and picture quality is great. Although it's winter with snowy weather, the battery level is still at full charge!

I have 4 cam's and a base . I like them and they work just fine for my needs . customer support line is also very good if you have a problem or questions . It says that you can put extra storage as in a hard drive but you don't really need it , one can clear the base at any time . I had others looked at my cam's and they decided to get the same one. Very happy with it all
