SoloCam S220 (2-Cam Pack)

I’ve been using the Eufy Security S220 SoloCam 2-Cam Pack for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m quite impressed. The setup was straightforward, and the cameras provide clear, high-quality 2K resolution footage. The wireless connection is stable with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and I appreciate the fact that there are no monthly fees—definitely a plus in my book.The cameras are reliable, and the always-on power is great for ensuring continuous monitoring. However, the only downside I’ve encountered is with the solar charging. While it’s a great concept, the solar panels don’t charge as efficiently as I had hoped. On cloudy days or in less direct sunlight, the power seems to drain faster than it replenishes.If you’re considering these cameras, I would recommend investing in an external solar power source to ensure consistent performance, especially if you’re in an area with less sun exposure.Despite this minor issue, the cameras themselves are top-notch and provide excellent security for my home. I would still recommend them, but with the caveat about the solar charging.

We LOVE Eufy for our house AND our apartment buildings…but I do have two small complaints that could be addressed and improved upon1: this camera (s220) along with a few of the others doesn’t have an option to turn notifications off while still storing the events like the C120 can. We don’t want the notifications to the app off as our house cameras are on here as well but I don’t need every notification from our buildings all day long! My phone is constantly going off as the app sends an average of 50+ notifications in 1hr from all our buildings cameras when the only cameras I need sending notifications are my house. We have tried the “I’m home” setting and it still sends alerts.2: all of the Eufy cameras lack catching humans periodically. As an example every once in a while someone can walk up the hallway from the entry but not caught on the entry camera.We own S220, E220, C120, and Floodlight-E220

These cameras work great and are easy to install. I started out with one and just added two more. Nice clear picture. Great sound.

I am impressed with the quality of the construction as well as audio and video quality. It being completely wireless is also fantastic. The one drawback in my mind is the person detection needs a little tuning as sometimes a person can walk straight through the zone and not trigger it, while other times is catches them the second they enter the zone. For the price, I am impressed. I LOVE not paying for a subscription though. Overall, happy with my purchase

Seems slow to respond to live view or check recorded events. So far, solar charging is very good. The images captured by the cameras have clarity and good quality and color. The app works very well and customer support is responsive and helpful.
