I was so excited for a robot vacuum that could also mop my floors that I pre-ordered this model when it was announced. I received my vacuum in March and all was well for the first few months. I did all the suggested maintenance, replaced the roller brush and guard, replaced the mop pads, cleaned the filters, etc. After about 4 months things turned south. The roller brush kept getting jammed, and after too much back and forth it was determined that the unit was improperly manufactured and would require a repair. Rather than offering to send a replacement unit, or even an express replacement I was required to ship the unit back for repair on my own. what was promised as a 3-5 day turn around turned into 3+ weeks without my vacuum, which finally arrived back yesterday. It was sent back to me in the exact same box I sent it in and arrived back to me damaged with a new issue. Customer service was extremely unhelpful when I called back in, and basically said, nothing we can do, we'll have to talk to the service department again.
For an $800 piece of technology The level of service and support is atrocious. I would not recommend buying from Eufy. you're better off with a robotic or a Dyson who will at least be prompt and helpful when addressing any issues.
When there is a collected dust, it can't pick up the dust and goes around the dust instead of collecting it. It can't clean without casting the floor when vacuum and mop mode is turned on. The eufy mobile app works well, the only con can't cancel the clean when the mopping pads are in washing mode.
This vacuum has amazing cleaning performance. It took longer to unbox than it did to setup in the app. I have been impressed by the AI see identification of various things around the house. I empty the dirty tank about once a week and refill the clean water at that time as well. That covers 700sq ft of mopping 3 times a week. It does a good job of mopping and cleaning everything it can get to.
So I had a previous iRobot 9 they brand new one. I was not happy with how often it did not complete the job. This machine so far works better mops better. The tile looks clean unlike iRobot it left marks would smear dirt and dog hair. So far so good, I’m happy with my purchase.
It does a very good job in cleaning but it needs to charge a little faster
