I use both Eufy and Wyze cameras, but I find myself leaning more towards Eufy system because I hate the monthly subscription model. Wyze used to be good in that we didn't need the monthly subscription to use it, but I'm finding as time goes by, the company is getting greedy like the other security camera companies with the subscription model. Eufy, on the other hand, has been great! I had bought their other security cameras to be used with Homebase 1 some years ago and really liked their ecosystem. I don't have a Homebase for this one, but it works fine without it as well as no monthly subscription fees! I love that it's solar powered, so it charges itself and has a security light built in! I control it with my mobile phone, so I feel more secure knowing I can monitor my home from anywhere. You can't adjust the tilt/rotate this model. Once you fasten it in place, that is the only angle of view--there's no way to adjust the angle, but I dn;t really have an issue with this because you get a wide view, so as long as the height is good, it won;t be problematic. The only issue I have with the Eufy cameras is the slow lag time. If they can improve this, it'd be a perfect product! currently, it takes close to 30 seconds to receive notifications and another 20-30 seconds for the footage to come online. So by the time, I can see the feed, the person has come and gone! To be fair, I also have similar issues with the other cameras, but they seem to be a bit faster than Eufy. The lag time is annoying, but I can live with it because of the other positive attributes.

Convenient light and camera powered by the sun!☀️
I purchased the eufy security solar wall light camera about 10 months ago. I wanted a camera and light that didn’t need to be wired. It’s been through 1 winter, spring and summer and still functions as well as the day it was installed. The trick is installing it in the right spot with good direct sunlight, not blocked by trees or fences. It sits in sun for about 5 hours which seems ample for recharging it when it dips below 90%. The solar light is bright for the crawl space area. The image is clear and it is set for triggering human movement only and it has worked perfectly, no false triggers. The only problem was trying to mount it at an angle and have it light and see the area desired. It doesn’t come with an angled mount (like the angle mount the eufy doorbell comes with) so I had to make it up. Other than that, the solar wall light camera is a good quality device that covers our backyard area well.
