I purchased this through the eufy site for $40. In my opinion, it shouldn't cost anymore than the water sensor. Also, eufy doesn't sell it on Amazon or eBay. They don't appear to put this item on sale.
It connected fine to my HomeBase 3. I tested it with my home wired smoke alarms which are really loud, as well as a secondary smoke alarm which is not as loud. It heard both of them. No need to install it right next to the smoke alarm as indicated in the instructions.
I have 2 of these sensors. One for inside the house, and another for the smoke alarm in the garage. They appear to be well made, and use the same battery as all other eufy sensors.
Another negative is... For Android phones, it shares the same notification sound as all other eufy sensors and motion.
Minus 1 star due to cost and the notification sound issue.

Will not work with integrated central system?
Can't get it to work with my whole-house hard-wired fire alarm system, so I may have wasted my money. This device appears like it was made to work with individual noise-making smoke and fire detectors... one listener needed for each detector. Yikes!
