eufy G50

I've seen robot vacuums advertised for a few years now and have always been doubtful as to how good they were, so when I got the opportunity to try the Eufy 650 it was with a degree of doubt whether it would cope in my house - Boy were my doubts dispelled.Let me start by saying that in our house every one has long hair so it is a regular thing to have to de hair the roller on any of vacuums we have owned and the ground floor is all open plan but with some door frames and walls still in place so quite the obstacle course.The robovac arrived extremely well packaged and with good instructions although I could not get the 2D code to work to download the App, that said just go to Google or Apple store and download Eufy Clean from there.So with the robovac unpackaged and charged it was easy to setup within the app and register it and connect to my wifi.The base unit charger comes with instructions to stick it to the floor using the 3m sticky pad on the base but not to use it on carpet - the whole house is carpeted but I overcame this by using velcro to fix it to the skirting board ( this is my only negative point about the entire setup).So it was time to see how robovac performed- we told it to start cleaning on a random pattern and away he went - we soon discovered that not only was Bob (or Robbie depending on who you ask in the house) very good at vacuuming but also liked to highlight just how many things (like wires etc.) were in unsafe places by picking them up and stopping because he had found something on the floor that shouldn't be there( Read the brush jammed). The app also notifies you of why he has stopped.He moved around the house with ease and grace completeing his tour of duty and reporting back to base to recharge - total run time on a full charge was about 1 hr 15 minutes and despite the large area he did an admirable job, because of his relative small size we decided to empty him to see how he did - better than We do judging by the amount of debis in his rubbish bin - we also noticed the brush was well wound in hair.Removing the brush was easy just a couple of clips and we cut it off with scissors over the bin - word of caution here the little bushes and bearing do come off so take care when cleaning the brush over a full waste bin else you will have to search the bin like we did.There is however a button in the app that activated the brush detangler process - much easier and safer - I would have liked to have seen this be able to be scheduled in the app like the cleaning process but so far have not been able to find a way to do this.Judging by the dust he picks up on a daily basis I judge the suction to be as good as a normal .We schedule his cleaning to start when we are out although this means that on weekends he generally starts up when I am having a lay in - initially I noticed it as he bumped his way around the rroom but now I must be used to it so no longer notice, he is also somewhat quieter than our normal vacuum so his weekend cleaning does not disturb anyone.We have enabled the child proof locking - not because anyone is likely to play with it in my house but because he occasionally turned himself off when cleaning under the chairs or radiators.I do wish he had some form of mapping so he knew where he had cleaned but this is an entry level machine and as such not to be expected .We did occasionally find Bob running out of power trying to find his way home at the end of the cleaning cycle but this is down to the complexity of our ground floor not his skills, We know limit access to him by putting immovable objects in his way so he can concentrate on a smaller area to cover.I do think that for what he does and how well he does it he represents great value for money and can be set to run whilst I am busy doing other things.TLDR : Bloody brilliant, easy to recommend - I am convinced and converted to robot cleaning, still need to dust etc but he saves me so much time

I’ve only used it once so far and it picks up really well.

I have a home with a mixture of carpets & laminated hardwood, with children, cats and dogs running the show. Cleaning is a daily occurrence, as dirt, dust and pet hairs travel everywhere - so needless to say, I was excited about trying this vacuum.So far it's full marks all round. Normally I have to go over the same patch several times, however this has picked up all of the hair and other daily grime on the first sweep. I love how it can switch between cleaning carpets, rugs and hard floors with no problems. I also must say that this is light, fairly quiet and easy to set up and use - plus of course you won't suffer from any backaches after use.I didn't really want to fully endorse such a pricey & gimmicky vacuum, but this model really is excellent = quicker in comparison to a similar model that I've tried.

I hate hoovering, so bought this on offer, well aware that it is a more basic version of what Eufy offers. As a basic robovac, it is brilliant. It cleans carpet and tiled surfaces well. On the standard setting, it will hoover from about 45 mins to an hour. It will get tangled up with power cables, so you do have to prep the room, and it really isn't able to find its way around the house - I find it's best to take it to a room and let it work - then take it back to the charger. One full charge will allow it to clean one room. So if you're looking for more, but a more expensive version.Overall, I am impressed enough that I will probably buy another one - a more advanced one this time.

I did not know how much I needed this robot vacuum until it arrived. I love keeping my floors ultra clean and even small pieces of rubbish annoy me. This vacuum is incredibly useful and I no longer worry about cleaning so much. It was easy to connect and has a strong suction with an extra boost on carpets. It feels very advanced considering the price as it is £199 at the time of writing my review and very similar to the more expensive robot vacuums. This is a great piece of technology to have at home and also save some time. I would order it again for sure!10/10Highly recommended!Thank you for reading my review. Very easy to set up and pretty much works straight out of the box. It’s easy to use and has simple controls on the vac itself and a fairly basic app with simple controls. The app gives you a few options for how the vac should route it self, the level of suction and different modes such as spot vac etc.The vacuum itself works well and although it doesn’t have any clue where it’s going if left long enough it will eventually make its way around the floor and does a pretty good job of vacuuming. It’s not to loud although the constant banging of it hitting furniture is annoying. I’ve been using this for a couple of months and we are happy with it. We have it in Atleast once a day to do our kitchen and snug and this keeps it at bay untill we need to do a full vacuum maybe once a week.The battery is good and it takes itself home when it’s getting low to recharge.Overall we are happy with this. It’s a great help and definitely does keep the mess at bay through the week. It’s a good robovac for the price and does the job well.

Really easy to set up and works better than expected. Can be frustrating to watch as it doesn't necessarily take the most obvious route around the room, but I just close the door and go back to it a bit later. Easy to empty too
