The Eufy X8 Pro robot vacuum cleaner arrived well packaged in a branded cardboard box. Inside the box there is the robotic vacuum, the charging station with the appropriate UK plug, a waterproof base pad, a mop attachment and cleaning tool with brush and knife combination. The vacuum cleaner has a diameter of 35.5cm and a height of 10cm, which isn’t the smallest size, but its height means that it can effectively clean underneath objects like sofas and cabinets. It weighs 5.4kg and feels very robust with a nice clean modern aesthetic.Set up is very straight forward. You will need to download the eufy clean app and connect it to the vacuum cleaner. Once connected to your vacuum, the robotic vacuum cleaner uses laser navigation to build a precise and customisable map of your home which can be viewed through in the app. The first time the vacuum runs it isn’t the most efficient, but the following runs are much more intelligent as it builds the most efficient cleaning route, and they do make a lot of sense to ensure that the entire floor area is cleaned properly without redundant passes.The app itself is intuitive to operate and set up, making the entire process very user-friendly. You have the ability to increase and decrease the vacuum speed, instruct the vacuum cleaner to return to its station to recharge and set up no mop zones and no-go zones on the customisable AI map. You can also map multiple floor levels, set up scheduled cleaning times and you can even set it off remotely (although I’m not totally sure why you would need to do this).As someone who hasn’t owned a robotic vacuum cleaner before, I have to say that I am impressed with the eufy X8 pro’s cleaning abilities. I am using the vacuum in my home on the ground floor which has hard flooring throughout with a few lightweight rugs and it hasn’t had any problems whatsoever with either the hard flooring or the rugs. I don’t have any pets so I can’t really test this aspect, but it definitely has deep cleaned the floor.The robotic vacuum cleaner features x2 4000Pa twin turbine which offers very strong suction and also has an automatic detangling feature to ensure that the roller brush remains free from hair tangles which does work surprisingly well for my long hair which does tend to get tangled. The vacuum has a soft mop attachment for an additional layer of cleanliness and there is a 270ml water tank for light mopping tasks. It has a child lock to prevent unintended use and can also be connected to your Alexa system adding into your smart home seamlessly.Remember that this version comes with a recharging ‘home’ station but it isn’t the self-emptying version and you will need to empty the dust box quite regularly (particularly with the first few runs which collects a surprising amount of dust and debris). However, cleaning out the vacuum is easy and the filter is washable too. Priced at £329 (RRP of £449) at the time of reviewing, this is obviously a bit of an investment, but the robotic vacuum cleaner does genuinely save you time, is very intelligent whilst being easy to use, and does work exceptionally well at picking up dust, dirt and debris, so I would be very happy to recommend it.

This little vac is amazing. Owning a German Shepherd who is shedding loads of hair everywhere I had my doubts about how it would cope, but it does a great job on carpet and hard floor. I confess that my grandson set it up for me, mapping the house and setting the timer but he did say it was easy.We will try the mopping feature this weekend. I find it a godsend as I have COPD and don't know how I would cope without it.Best purchase I have ever made.

We have a super busy family home, one German Shepherd, two cats and two children, and the fact I can set our eufy to work while we sleep is a godsend. What an amazing start to the day coming downstairs to hoover lines! Thank you eufy!

Its so bad im laughing how terrible it is just constantly gets stuck cant find its way home cant go over carpet because it says its not tauching the ground and wont go over doorway also emptys all the debris all over its charging base, suction is also terrible just goes round making a loud noice not actually sucking up.

It also only has one brush

Purchased the X8pro-SES.
it didn’t worked out of the box - it had a laser error. I had an expensive plastic brick. It should never have passed quality control and left the factory. Eufy customer service was terrible. Spent days bouncing around answering the same questions. Eventually gave up and returned it for a full refund. I’m sure the product is ok - if you get one that has passed some form of quality control, but Eufy - get a handle on your customer service. It’s REALLY poor. If you want customers to spend money and be loyal to your brand. Take ownership and sort it when you mess up.

With a house full of pets, including shedding cats and dogs, the X8 Pro does a fantastic job of picking up all the fur and debris on both hard floors and carpets. I was amazed at how much dirt it managed to collect, even after a thorough vacuum with my traditional cleaner. The fact that it can be programmed to clean on a schedule, both downstairs and upstairs, has been a game-changer for keeping my home clean and pet hair-freeThe only problem really is that the dust bin can get full quickly, leading to the robot leaving a trail of debris if not emptied regularly. However, this was easily remedied by investing in the self-emptying dockOverall, the X8 Pro Robot Vacuum has become an invaluable tool in my household. It not only saves me time and effort but also keeps my floors spotless on a daily basis. I wish I had invested in a robot vacuum sooner, as it has truly made a difference in my cleaning routine. Perfect just what I was looking for , the eufy X8 pro does a great job it cleans very well and battery lasts a long time . I would highly recommended this .

An excellent product, looks very cool and nice. The material is very strong and sturdy, feels and looks more expensive than it actually is. Could also make a great gift for a loved one. Love that it is lightweight, very effective and comes to great use. Great size and shape, easy to clean and also just as easy to put together for its best use. Packed very well, no damage or anything. Long lasting, can’t complain! Could be a bit lower in price as it is quite expensive, however you would receive high quality cameras with a large storage. They work very well overnight, night vision is excellent. Not the hardest to set up, can be done fairly quickly when following the guide that's within the package. Picture quality is excellent. Definitely recommend.
