first impressions are very good ,time will tell on reliability,picture quality is great ,Ai tracking very good will track someone coming up the drive and to front door and has my cars on drive covered

Arrived quickly and was relatively easy to install. The book of instructions is fairly basic and I needed to search on the internet on how to view the solar dashboard but not really a problem. Still happy to give 5 stars as the overall experience so far has been good.

Easy to install and set up. You don’t need a Eufy Homebase to use the camera but if you do it integrates well and any AI face recognition from other devices like doorbell automatically update on the camera. Picture is great, really clear, night vision is great and the spotlight works really well for such a small source. Only gripe is it doesn’t work with Apple HomeKit like my other Eufy products.

So far so good. No issues detected with the app. The AI functionality is really good. Picture quality both in the day and at night is very good.Bought a S340 camera. Bought a 2nd S340 camera later with a Homebase 3. Without the Homebase 3 I could give each camera its own schedule to record at different times each day. Now both cameras are linked to the hub I’ve lost that functionality so both cameras share the same recording schedule. Wish I could still schedule each camera independently like before. Maybe they will sort that on a future app update. The advantage of the Homebase 3 is that the footage is stored on that which is more secure than being on each camera. Also I can increase the storage capacity of the Homebase whereas with the cameras I can’t.

I've bought a lot of eufy cameras over the post couple of years and i can't fault them, this one seems the best of the lot. Especially if you team then you with a homebase(local recording storage).Best features: great software, no subscriptions, high quality recordings.Negatives: if you buy the solar cameras, dependant on where you position them,it may be necessary to remove them from the wall and charge them during the winter. They last a long time even with meagre winter sun... But it's something to be aware of, Mine stay at 90-100% from spring to autumn, but generally will drop significantly on the winter.The above is the one negative of wireless solar cameras, but the positives of no wires, no drilling into the house, far outweigh these negatives to me at least.
