Video Doorbell E340 (Battery Powered)

Quality doorbell and service miles better than ring doorbell

Purchased two of these E340s, one wired to existing bell chime that keeps battery constantly charged, the other is wireless with high daily event recordings usage appearing to discharge battery over ca. 2 month period. Have a spare battery charged ready and waiting. the parcel collection , bespoke messaging and parcel delivery functionality is brilliant!

Recently changed to eufy from another brand and they are great.So easy to use, quick set up and the image quality is amazing. I get notifications immediately on my phone and Alexa devices so a big improvement.

Excellent video and really useful being able to view any parcel on the floor. Only 4 stars because there seems to be a delay between picking up someone and giving a notification. Husband pleased with the new Eufy system.

This camera is amazing. Video and sound quality is perfect. The app is easy to use and the cam looks very fancy.

Likes : Excellent image quality, motion detection. Excellent wi-fi connection (better than previous make). I like the fact that videos are stored on a micro SD memory in the indoors chime, as this is a lot more secure.Dislikes: It's a shame they don't offer a suitable power supply. I purchased a 24VAC 30VA transformer, but even under load the voltage output was too high at 30V. I used the 12V tapping, which gives 15V but that theoretically is too low, but it does work OK. The app is a little more complicated than it need be I feel, and I had to Google how to set up the chime as a hub. It just wasn't intuitive, and I feel it should have been documented in the manual. Overall though, I am happy with the setup I have now..

Used as a replacement for original door bell push with a transformer power supply. Everything was designed and setup perfectly in advance to enable simple installation with good results.

I did A LOT of research before getting a video doorbell. Eufy was at the top of the list but was between this one and the S330 - I couldn’t really justify spending more on the S330 so went for this E340 instead, it seems the only thing missing between these two is the Homebase? Still slightly confused but either way, this is an impressive product.Installing this was easy, we have a brick wall at the front. Drilled 2 holes, supplied screws went in along with the supplied mounting bracket and angle which is very useful.I’ve had this in for 10 days now and the battery has only dropped 1 bar, really impressed - I’ve bought a spare battery just in case though, as I read some reviews of this lasting just a week but happy to say that it’s not the case!! We’ve been using the live view a lot and get lots of notifications with parcel delivery and neighbours which I like, but this can be adjusted in app. Overall notifications are good as it detects motion and the picture quality and video is just phenomenal.Performance of this is great too as it connects super quick.10/10 product and I would recommend this to all.

My last eufy doorbell lasted 3 years so I purchased this one,it seems to be working good no problems and does everything it should.the sound is good along with the detection mode and video playback.no subscription is a big bonus
