How much data will eufy Security 4G Camera S230 use monthly?
This camera works and works well! I bought it to monitor a feral cat feeding station so I know which cats need to be trapped, neutered, and returned. It doesn't need wifi, so any location works well. The data charge is minimal, and you can only buy what you need. The battery charge seems to last forever.

Crashes and goes offline after a few weeks or a month. Constant annoying clicking sounds.
The solar setup seems ideal for having a camera in your "back 40" (so to speak... part of the farm or storage or so on you aren't able to make it out to very often), but with two of these now, they repeatedly, reliably suddenly go offline with a "Camera has turned off due to low battery" error after some period of time. Some times it's two weeks. Sometimes five weeks. Sometimes one week. They'll go from 100% charge and plugged in to a 2amp USB-C charger to "Camera has turned off due to low battery" instantly. I'm only speculating here, but I believe some firmware bug is making these crash, then when they go offline suddenly, that's the only message the app knows how to give.
If you put these in your back yard and have company over, the loud, constant clicking (even in full daylight, when it doesn't make sense at all that it would try to switch to night vision, which is the official explanation for the clicking) will make guests feel uncomfortable.
