Having previously used several robotic vacuum cleaners, I can confidently say that the eufy Omni S1 Pro is the best by a mile!This machine has completely transformed my cleaning routine with its superior performance and innovative features. The standout feature of this product has to be the Always Clean mop. Unlike my previous robotic mops that used a pad, the Omni S1 Pro employs a constantly cleaned brush, ensuring my floors are thoroughly cleaned every time. The difference in cleanliness is remarkable, and it handles both vacuuming and mopping with impressive efficiency. The app is incredibly easy to use and intuitive. From scheduling cleanings to adjusting settings, everything is straightforward and user-friendly. The manual control feature is a great addition, allowing for precise control when needed.The design of both the robot cleaner and the base station is sleek and futuristic. A lot of attention to detail has gone into the construction, and the high-quality materials are evident. It not only performs well but looks great in my home too. Good value for money

PROS-I think it does an excellent job of cleaning my carpets and tiled floors.-very easy for me to set up: well written instructions, voice prompts helpful, and it connected to my wifi seamlessly.-it noticed a firmware update after first turning on, which was easy to download and install.-great app, well designed and very functional (though it could still use a bit of polishing)-initial house-mapping went seamlessly, and subsequent cleaning runs have refined that map almost perfectly (though on the first house mapping session, it could see out a closed patio door and designated part of my backyard as a room)-it reacts well to alternations in the space it is cleaning: e.g. if a chair in the kitchen has been moved, it sees that and adjusts its route accordingly.-great that I can watch its progress on the app, and see where it has cleaned and where it still needs to clean-looks great (like something from the future)-very easy to order replacement parts and bags/cleaning solution from the appCONS-yet another account to sign up for (though the app is very good)-it doesn’t always seem to go right up against walls. Along several walls I get a several centimetre gap between where it cleans, and where it sees a wall. So far I’ve had to go over those areas with my old vacuum.-it does take up a lot of room where I have the basestation located, but most other robots would too-can’t turn off the rather bright LEDs (I have my base station set up in my living room, and when I’m watching TV in the evening, I can see the distracting glow)-a bit loud, I have it starting at 3am and have managed to hear it a few times (my place has the bedrooms on an upper floor). But we’ll get used to it, I think.-I was surprised at how often it would physically bump into things (especially when turning around in place: it’d stop in front of an obstacle, pivot in place and one of its back corners would bump into that obstacle. Lightly, but still, surely it shouldn’t?).NOTES-now, I have no basis for comparison, this is my first robot vacuum. But I do have a lot of experience with software and hardware user interfaces and industrial design, and I’m very impressed with this product.-I was worried about the proprietary bag and bottle of cleaning solution, these sort of things tend to be overpriced. But it looks like a bag can take a couple weeks of dirt (mine is not a very dirty house, no kids) and it only sips cleaning solution, so that should last for a while too. So replacement costs shouldn’t be too burdensome.-I have found a few online communities dedicated to this device, and it looks like the Eufy team are actively getting feedback from and supporting their users. I've owned the Eufy S1 Pro for a few weeks, and I must say it's extremely impressive. The mopping function is superb, effortlessly picking up messes and cleaning effectively without guzzling water. The vacuum also does a bang up job. It also switches smoothly between vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors, lifting its mop roller to avoid wetting the carpets.Setting up the robot was straightforward, thanks to the helpful Quick Start Guide and user-friendly app. The app’s mapping function works well, though the robot can struggle with high threshold strips between different flooring types. The obstacle avoidance is excellent, deftly dodging toys, cables, and even pet food bowls.The proprietary detergent for self-cleaning is on the pricier side, but it's possible to find workarounds. Despite these minor issues, the Eufy S1 Pro has massively reduced my cleaning workload, making it well worth the investment.

This is an awesome piece of kit which works brilliantly. First of all it's super easy to put together and instructions were clear. You fill clean water and attached dust bag, it's all ready. It got an app which got so many functions. Once your house is mapped you can chose invidual rooms, mop intensity etc. It auto cleans the mop which is divine as I don't have to worry about it. It does takes long time to dry it though. Cleaning is of high quality and it's fairly fast. Only downside I have is that it's bit loud but I can live with it. Overall wonderful piece of kit.

When I emptied the bag and mop water, I was shocked at how much it had collected. The mop water looked like motor oil compared to the manual cleaning, and the vac picked up an amazing amount of hair and other bits the Henry left behind.You can set the rooms in different orders, I set the bathroom last so the machine cleans the mop immediately afterwards, for hygiene reasons. You can also select zonal cleaning, so if you have made a mess in a particular area, the bot can focus on there rather than do the whole room.Day to day, it hasn't missed a beat. It is a bit more involved than a "dumb vac", but once the maps are loaded, the vac can recognise what room it is in, and perform the cleaning routine as required.These are not designed to completely replace the cleaning routine, rather they are built to assist. You still need to do the edges and missed bits once or twice a week, although it has cut domestic task time down massively.This would be best suited to a large open plan area, an office on a single level, or the bottom floor of a modern house. This cannot climb stairs or take on bumps over 20mm high, so a house built on a hill where every room is on a different level would be impossible for this!This has made my life so much easier. And during the World Cup, it has been an endless source of entertainment while waiting for teams to stop passing it around the back and score some goals

I wanted to use this item a good few times before leaving a review. This is absolutely wonderful technology and has really taken the strain out of a boring household chore. The whole unit is very well built, very sturdy and robust. Set up was very easy, and the app works seamlessly. The vacuum element works amazingly on both hard floors and carpet, and it avoided obstacles extremely well. The mopping element of this unit is absolutely spot on, and left my floors spot on. The charging station for this is quite bulky, so this whole product is best suited to a larger home rather than a flat sized home.This is definitely a WOW product and now I have one, I won't look back. The technology is amazing, and really does take the bore out of housework. I highly recommend this premium product, you will not look back once you have one!!

So far, in the two days that I’ve been using this Eufy S1, I’ve completely defeated the purpose of having it. I’ve been following it around. Trying to set traps for it and seeing who wins. I planted a small white feather under a table, very close to a leg-and waited. Si found it! I have wooden floors throughout the downstairs of my house, with raised door bars. They’re quite high, I felt sure they’d stump him. But, no, Si won again! Then just to rub salt in my wound he turned round and went back over the door bar. Show off!I thought I’d spend half a morning getting him up and running. For some reason I thought that he would only do his own thing and become truly robotic after I’d inputted lots of settings. How wrong can one be. Getting Si out of the box took longer than setting him up. A switch to slide, a red button to press, a container to fill with water, install a bottle of cleaner, plug him into a power socket-and that was it! Literally, nothing else at all. Then a simple step to download the app onto my phone (I didn’t include that in Si’s setup, that was setting me up.) and away he went.I do have a gripe though-It’s with the listing. We’re the general public who make the mess for your products to clean up. We’re not the designers of robotic cleaners. So when you use robotic cleaner speak it goes right over our heads. 300k Voxels, 8000pa and 750 times more precise navigation. 750 times more precise than what? A Pa is a Pascal. A measure of suction power. 2000 Pa is the norm for a robotic vacuum cleaner. 8000 Pa is as good as it gets. Si is 8000Pa. Voxels are cubes of space, Eufy don’t say how big their voxels are, but they are probably around 1mm x 1mm x 1mm. So that means that Si can detect an area of 300,000 cubes of space 1mm x 1mm x 1mm in front of him. I didn’t know that off the top of my head-Mr. Google had to step in and help.I then moved on to trying Si with his mopping function. I forced myself to let him get on with it and not try to catch him out. I programmed him to mop 22sq metres of wooden flooring. With the press of a button Si was off doing his duty. 31 minutes later he told me that he’d finished. I hadn’t cleaned that particular bit of floor for several days. I was prepping a test bed. The level of clean water dropped by 30mm and the dirty water level rose by about 20mm. I couldn’t see how he could mop that area with so little water. So I got down on my hands and knees with a cloth and a bowl of water and hand washed the same area. It would be an exaggeration to say that you could drink the resultant “dirty” water, but there was hardly any discolouration.I have carpets upstairs so I carried Si and his home up aloft and let him explore for his mapping session. I’d left all the doors open and when he was ready he was off on his first carpet cleaning expedition. I usually use a Dyson V6-the pet hair one. On the deep pile carpet in the bathroom Si did a better job than his labour intensive cousin, and in the bedrooms I would say he was on a par. There was one very big difference though. I have to push the Dyson wherever I want it to go. With Si, he was off doing his own thing.Occasionally, very occasionally a new product comes into your life and you wonder how on earth you managed to live without it. This Eufy robot vacuum omni S1 pro is one such item. How many hours have I spent vacuuming, mopping and titivating floors? 100s? 1000s? How many hours am I going to spend doing those tasks in the future? None, zero, not a one!! Some may say at a penny under £1500.00 this is an expensive piece of equipment-and they'd be right. But how do you put a price on your time? How many hours will this machine save in a week? In a year? Pay yourself less than minimum wage, say £10.00 an hour, and in 150 hours this S1 has paid for himself.This S1 is beautifully designed, practicality combined with aesthetics. I’m so pleased that Si has come to live with me. He says he’d like a brother please. Someone younger and smaller. Si wasn’t designed for stairs and he’s unhappy that he can’t clean them for me. I’ve tried to reassure him, but you know what it’s like with these robotic vacuum cleaners. They always want to try just that little bit harder. When you’re the best you want to stay the best .

Looks amazing and incredibly premium with the base station installed next to a power socket, nice and sleek. Very easy to see if the clean water needs toping up, but with the dirty water being on the back side, you will need to examine and refresh it periodically. The mobile part is low profile, less than 100mm tall, allowing it to access and clean areas under tables , cabinets, sofas etc.Has controls on the top for operating it, however, it is far easier and more functional to use the 'eufy Clean' application on your phone. You can set zones for cleaning, stay out zones, including a time schedule for the cleaning.Main reason to get this Robot Vacuum is because of the mopping function, ensures everything is cleaned exceptionally well. Has the great advantage of cleaning its rotary mop as it goes, returning to its base station to swap out the dirty water for fresh water and sterilising itself at the same time (takes around 2 minutes)- very well thought out and cool design.I dislike that it uses a proprietary detergent as a self cleaning solution - but, for the more inventive, you could find a way to refill with your own detergent. This needs to be changed every 6 months, It is also optional. It produces its own ozone water from tap water, this has the properties (according to the blurb) of being disinfecting while being also safe for pets and kids.Vacuum function is ok, sometimes it can miss corner or edge debris as it doesn't have a robotic arm, it does a fair job though. The bottom brush is easily removed for cleaning our debris such as long hair etc.It cleverly switches between vacuum (when on a carpet) and mopping (when on a hard surface) - to ensure it doesn't wet the carpet, it lifts its mobbing roller 12mm high to avoid the carpet.Obstacle avoidance is amazingly accurate, it completely avoids small objects on the floor, pens, toys, and even pet poo is all left intact - so a human can come along and sort that aspect out -Noise produced during cleaning the floor is not as loud as a standard high powered mains operated vacuum - the loudest part is when the Mobile unit returns to its base to charge and clean itself.Once you get one of these you will never look back, recommended.

I was excited to test the Eufy S1 Pro, although I had some reservations due to a recent disappointing experience with a similarly shaped robot. I discontinued using the previous one and reverted to traditional cleaning methods because its performance didn't meet my expectations. However, this time, I'm impressed. The mopping function is effective, picking up any mess and cleaning efficiently without needing to return to its station frequently. It uses less water and is more efficient overall. It can climb onto carpets effortlessly and has excellent obstacle avoidance. The slim design allows it to reach almost everywhere, and it maps the room well for more effective cleaning. The app is very user-friendly and doesn't require remapping each time. It seems to start from the centre of the room and then move to the edges.The charging station is quite bulky, which could be an issue if you have a small house like mine, as it requires a permanent space. The videos and tutorials provided are very useful. Although the robot isn't super straightforward to use initially, it's not difficult either. The Quick Start Guide was very helpful and clear, though it does require a bit of practice to make the most of all its amazing functions. I've only tested the robot once so far and need to make some room changes to accommodate it better, as it would be more suitable in a spacious environment with less clutter, unlike my current situation where my kids leave everything everywhere.
