MiniBase Chime

Good item even though a little tricky to set up

I bought two of these to link to my E340 doorbell, linked the first just fine but no chance with the second. Spoke to technician on the livechat, and he/she told me that you can only pair one of these chimes to an E340, ever. Just one. Heads-up for those that have a HomeBase - you cannot EVER pair one of these chimes and a HomeBase at the same time. It's one-and-done. If you have a HomeBase you have to get the chime with the USB bluetooth dongle. And then you can have just the one of them too.
No-where in the FAQ or the website is any of this stated, that I can find. And they are charging me shipping to return the useless one as "it's not faulty".

I bought this door bell and camera to replace a ring door bell and camera an excellent choice cannot fault the eufy in eny way highly recommend I also bought a lndoor bell chime easy to install excellent

Product is great, works v well, just annoying that the 340 doorbell doesn't come with it and had to buy separately.

Works a treat

Having set up in the house it works as expected, however, move it too far away from the doorbell itself (but still connected to the WiFi) and it stops working (my E340 doorbell is connected to my Homebase 3 over the Homebase's network, not over house WiFi as that is the only way to get it to store video to the Homebase).

Support didn't seem to know why, but presumably, it needs to be in range of the doorbell for a direct connection which makes the ability to add multiple chimes pretty useless as if they are all within range of the doorbell then you can hear them all at the same time!

good picture quality easy to use

This is the best bit of kit out there, period. You can set night mode with infrared or by using the lights on the doorbell, so two totally different ways. This is super useful to get the best picture according to your environment. I think it also does a mix of the two different ways but i have not tried as yet. More detail is given with eufy camera than the close competitor, Ring. I've used both. I must admit that i really do like how the Ring doorbell, when pressed takes over your phone screen when alerting you making it very easy to answer, whereas the Eufy will pop up in notifications so easy to miss a call as not constantly flashing while ringing, more resembling a notification. The eufy has a lot of good stuff going for it as it does everything more refined and better, better thought out system. The only improvement i wished the Eufy had is the way the Ring doorbell Alerts and notifies you.

This product truly helps you with your video doorbell. The local expandable storage is excellent and expandable to 128GB. The doorbell sounds are varied and are loud, which is what we needed loving in a three storey property. Well worth the money!!
